OSHA Training

Davis Interiors provides comprehensive OSHA training. All workers, including contractors, must complete this training to work in Navy-contract facilities. We have decades of combined experience in various shipboard applications, including shipboard habitability. Through the years, we have gained the knowledge and skills required to ensure safety during maritime operations.

OSHA Training Is Essential

Training That Saves Lives

The fast-changing and challenging nature of the maritime industry requires a well-prepared workforce. OSHA training equips these workers with the knowledge and skills required to identify and mitigate risks. It also guides them in navigating harsh weather conditions and handling emergencies.

Benefits of
OSHA Training

Besides protecting life and property, effective training translates to other benefits including:

Regulatory Compliance

Maritime workers and employers must meet certain standards to avoid legal issues and hefty fines. Effective training keeps workers and employers up-to-date with the current OSHA safety standards.

Hazard Recognition

With OSHA training, the workforce can recognize potential risks before they cause problems. Hands-on training and practical examples help workers identify potential hazards more quickly. They also learn to analyze the risks’ severity and make informed judgments to prevent incidents.

More Opportunities

OSHA training increases job satisfaction, reduces employee turnover rates, and attracts more professionals. Additionally, trained, tried and certified maritime employees set themselves apart from their competitors in the job market.

Reduced Workplace Injuries and Illnesses

When workers know the right safety procedures, they can take proactive measures to enhance safety. OSHA training protects the workforce and reduces the downtime caused by such scenarios.

Boosts Efficiency and Productivity

OSHA training guides employees on the proper handling of work equipment and hazardous material. It also teaches them how to identify and respond to emergencies. This leads to smooth, focused, and highly effective operations and improved productivity.

Improves Company Reputation

Clients, stakeholders, and investors prefer working with companies that value workplace safety. OSHA certification and compliance demonstrate ethical business practices, reliability, and the utmost professionalism.
